The Government of the Kingdom of Norway has agreed to provide an additional grant assistance of Norwegian Kroner 50 million (approximately Nrs. 88 crore) to the Government of Nepal.

The Government of the Kingdom of Norway has agreed to provide an additional grant assistance of Norwegian Kroner 50 million (approximately Nrs. 88 crore) to the Government of Nepal. The grant assistance will mainly be utilized for conduction of the forthcoming Constitutional Assembly election slated for 19 November 2013 and for the local election to be held in 2014. An addendum to this effect was signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway at this Ministry.

Mr. Madhu Kumar Marasini, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance and His Excellency Mr. Kjell Tormod Pettersen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Nepal signed the agreement on behalf of their respective Governments.
