To provide opinion and recommendations for the formulation of necessary policy through study and analysis of the policies and programmes adopted by the banking and the financial sector and also ensure effectiveness in public enterprise management and accelerate the divestiture of State owned Enterprises (SOEs) in order to ease the pressure on public expenditure.
