The Government of the People's Republic of China has agreed to undertake the Project of Timure Frontier Inspection Station in Rasuwagadi.

The Government of the People's Republic of China has agreed to undertake the Project of Timure Frontier Inspection Station in Rasuwagadi. The total building area of the project is about 6,900 ?, including the construction of integrated inspection building, accommodation building, cargo warehouse and parking lot, flood protection levee and supply of some office equipment and inspection equipment.

The Government of the People's Republic of China has also agreed to provide technical assistance to agriculture sector in order to support Nepal long-term Agricultural Development Plan. Chinese expert will also carry out hybrid rice variety experimental research and demonstrate the products suitable for Nepalese land.

The Letter of Exchange to this effect was signed and exchanged at the Ministry of Finance, Kathmandu, Nepal, today. The grant assistance funds stipulated in the Agreements on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the Government of Nepal and the Government of China will be used for the projects.
